Welcome-Welcome to our new season cheerleaders and parents as we start our 5th season. The first 4 years have flown by and our program has grown tremendously. The addition of our Mini and Junior has taken our program to exiting new levels and we certainly look forward their returning this season. We are once again interested in forming an Open Team. All prospective cheerleaders for any of the teams must attend the mandatory parent meeting on May 21, 2008 at the Camden Fire Station. We anxiously look forward to watching our cheerleaders grow, excel and make us proud as they prepare to compete against other teams and take themselves to new heights not only in cheerleading and as young adults as well. Milestones-As a program we have many milestones in our first 4 years. We have had cheerleaders nominated for various award such as representing North Star All Stars at the Orange Bowl in Florida, Pro Bowl in Hawaii, National Cheerleader of the Year twice in Fayetteville, NC. We have also had our Head Coach nominated for National Coach of the Year in 2007 in Fayetteville NC. At the North Star All Star Cheerleading program, we have a lot to be proud of, we have made trips, competitions and recognition for our program that would have been made possible had it not been for the North Star All Stars and the motivation and dedication of everyone working as 1 team, the Board, Coaches, Player, Parents and families. We certainly thank everyone for their support for the 1st-4 years and we look forward to many more years of dedicating ourselves to the youth in our communities as they continue to grow into our future. Senior Team Mandatory: Gymnastics starts July 7, 2008 (Monday Evenings) Junior Team Optional: Gymnastics starts July 7, 2008 (Monday Evenings) Gymnastics: Mondays 6:30-7:30 P.M. (both Junior/Senior teams) Practice time: Mondays 7:30-8:30 P.M. (Senior team) Summer months only $3.00/cheerleader Monday's Gymnastics and Practices will be held at the Cicero Commons
Practice time: Wednesday 6-8 P.M. (Senior team) CHS outside Juniors are welcome to attend Mon/Wed practices, Juniors-Gymnastics $40.00/month PRACTICE CLOTHES: Senior Team: $24.00 due for priactice clothes at first practice (1 pr. shorts, 1 tee shirt) additional clothing may be purchased Junior/Mini Team participants will be notified in Sept. or Oct. regarding when practices begin. We will be contacting each cheerleader for clothing sizes
Practices will be Monday and Wednesday 6-8 P.M. for Juniors Practices will be Monday evenings 6-7:30 P.M. for Minis (First Monday of each month, each practice will change to the next Tuesday evening as the coaches have prior committments) Other Upcoming Events: 2007-2008 North Star All Stars North Star Mini Team
